Stratopoint Software Newsletter - August 11, 2004 ------------------------------------------------- Dear users, We would like to present you the new small tool we released today: Framerate Converter HQ. For those of you who has some experience in editing video files it is no secret that converting video framerate causes certain frames to be dropped or added to achieve the needed rate retaining audio synchronization. For example, converting a 25 fps PAL video to 24 fps causes one frame to be dropped each second, that produces an unwanted jerkiness in movements (you can even see such jerkiness in low-resolution movie trailers). Framerate Converter HQ is the video processing tool that can smoothly increase or reduce video framerate without causing jerkiness. It has no limitations for source or destination framerates: in any case all movements will be perfectly smooth. With Framerate Converter HQ you can turn an NTSC or PAL video to 24 fps to simulate film or turn a jerky 15 fps video recorded with digital photo camera to 25 or 30 fps making all movements smooth.
